Most expectant parents find it helpful to schedule a prenatal conference. It gives us the chance to get to know each other and to discuss important issues before the baby is born. Please feel free to contact our office to arrange an appointment.
Our doctors visit Northwest Medical Center. If you do not deliver at this hospital, please call our office when discharged to schedule an appointment for 1-3 days following discharge.
Yes, during office hours, Palm Pediatrics does not use a voice prompt message. After hours, as opposed to an answering service, there is an after hours emergency number where our providers Dr. Bayer can be reached at all times in the event of an urgent concern emergency. Your insurance company also provides a free 24 hour Nurse Hotline that can be of assistance during times of closed office hours.
We offer Saturday morning hours several times per month for emergencies and working families.
Yes, we offer same day sick visit appointments.
During your baby’s first year, regular office examinations will be scheduled at approximately age 4 to 5 days, 1-2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months and 1 year. Immunizations will be given in order to prevent certain diseases and other tests will be done at appropriate times.
